The Role:
As a Research Admin Assistant, you will contribute to the success of CCRW’s research, evaluation, and operational activities by supporting administrative and data management tasks in a cross-functional team. You will play a pivotal role helping CCRW carry out innovative research projects, as well as assist in monitoring the impact and effectiveness of our Employment Services programs.
The main accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:
  • Data entry and cleaning: Input research and evaluation data into databases, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Salesforce), and/or spreadsheets
  • Data management: Ensure the integrity of data collection protocols by cleaning and validating data, identifying and correcting errors, organizing files, and maintaining accurate records
  • Administrative support: Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, organizing project documentation, and coordinating communication with research participants and/or team members
  • Collaboration and communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams of researchers and operations staff, communicating effectively to share updates and coordinate activities
  • Monitoring and quality assurance: Assist in collecting relevant data to evaluate service outcomes
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support for research software and digital tools, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of online survey platforms, organizational databases, and digital repositories used by organization to support quality assurance of data.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager(s)
Requirements to be considered for this job:
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as social sciences, public administration, or computer science; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated knowledge and interest in disability, accessibility, inclusion, and human rights advocacy (i.e., legislation, attitudinal, physical, and systemic barriers faced by persons with disabilities)
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professionalism, enthusiasm, and a keen sense of confidentiality and tact
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote work model
  • Access to high-speed internet at home
  • A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) is required
Nice to haves:
  • Proficiency in Salesforce is a strong asset
  • Familiarity or experience with social science research methods
  • French language fluency
