The Role:  
The Client Engagement Coordinator will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with a regional scope to play the pivotal role in building connections with key stakeholders within the Ottawa area. The core responsibility of this position will be to establish and strengthen relationships specifically with educational institutions, colleges, and universities, acting as a bridge between academia and the professional world to further increase access to participants and successful outcomes for the project. In this role, you will have a strong background in stakeholder engagement, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As the Client Engagement Coordinator, you will leverage your exceptional communication skills to develop and execute engagement strategies, ensuring effective collaboration with internal staff, to support the success of the project.  
The main accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to: 
  • Stakeholder Relationship Building/Opportunity Creation:  
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with prominent educational institutions within Ottawa (University of Ottawa, Carleton University, Saint Paul University, Algonquin College etc.)   
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for mentorship and act as a conduit for career-focused clients seeking their first professional roles and employment opportunities.   
  • Network Expansion and Project Support  
  • Assist in the development and expansion of a diverse network of employers in the Ottawa region.    
  • Work collaboratively with businesses, both large and small, to understand their needs and align them with the talent pool emerging from educational institutions.   
  • Contribute to the overall success of CCRW by ensuring seamless connectivity between educational institutions, students, and employers.   
  • Provide support in designing and implementing initiatives that enhance employability and career development.   
 Requirements to be considered for this job:  
  • 2+ years of proven experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship management, or related field  
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related discipline  
  • Proven ability to utilize technology and proficiency in the use of Office 365, preference given for experience in the use of the Salesforce platform.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.  
  • Creative, organized, collaborative, and motivated individual.  
  • Familiarity with barriers experienced by job seekers with disabilities. 
  • French language fluency an asset
 Working hours and/ work environment:  
  • The role is eligible for a hybrid work model with a combination of some in-office and remote work.
