Job Title: Intake Coordinator (Multiple Locations)

Salary Range: $27.18 - $28.61 (varies with respect to region)
Job Type: Full-time in-office position, Contract (8-weeks)
Locations: Charlottetown, PEI; Moncton, NB, Toronto, and Ottawa, ON; Winnipeg, MB;  (1 position per site)
Hourly rate with respect to province: PEI, NB & MB - $27.18; Toronto, Ottawa - $28.61
The Role:  
As an intake coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting in the initial contact and assessment process for clients seeking services within CCRW. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to assess clients' needs effectively. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of social services, allowing you to apply your theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. 
Key Responsibilities: 
  1. Client Intake: Conduct initial screenings and assessments with clients to gather relevant information about their needs, concerns, and goals. 
  2. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client information, including demographics, presenting issues, assessment results, and any other relevant data. 
  3. Referral Management: Alongside our Employment Coaches and Career Talent Consultants identify appropriate resources and referrals based on clients' needs and preferences, coordinating access to external services as necessary. 
  4. Case Coordination: Collaborate with team members to support in the process of implementing individualized service plans for clients. 
  5. Advocacy: Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they receive the support, resources, and services they require to address their needs and improve their well-being. 
  6. Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, team members, and external stakeholders as needed  
  7. Compliance: Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations governing client confidentiality, data protection, and ethical conduct. 
Requirements to be considered for this job: 
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree/diploma in employment counselling, social services, communications, or combination or equivalent combination of experience and education   
  • Highly achievement orientated.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Organized and comfortable with office administration, experience using MS Office Suite. 
  • Familiarity with barriers experienced by job seekers with disabilities.
