Fable is a Toronto based tech company whose mission is to empower people with disabilities to participate in, contribute to, and shape society. Join Fable to learn about a career in tech as well as their free skill-building courses and remote work opportunities for people with disabilities. Kim Donaldson - Kim is the Pathways Lead at Fable. Her previous work in employment services with people with disabilities fostered her passion for increasing equitable work opportunities. Kim has worked with Fable’s team to grow their community of accessibility testers across Canada and the US and now manages the growth of Fable’s free, accessible on-demand skill-building program, Fable Pathways.
Kate Kalcevich - Kate is the Head of Accessibility Innovation at Fable. Kate helps large organizations practice innovative approaches to accessibility through learning from assistive technology users. Kate has championed accessibility since 2001. She is an IAAP Certified Web Accessibility Specialist and former UX designer and front-end developer. Kate herself has a hearing disability and is currently focused on delivering custom accessibility training to help teams upskill on accessibility.
Jillian Fortin - Jillian is the Director of Community Programs at Fable. Over the last fifteen years, she has championed diversity and works to educate technology professionals to make their digital tools more inclusive. She is dedicated to creating spaces for underrepresented populations to contribute fully to our fascinating world.
