One of 50: YMCA NL Becomes First Employer to Join CCRW’s 50th Employers Challenge
CCRW 50th Anniversary
Our First Employer Joins the 50th Employers Challenge
YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador
becomes the first employer to commit to building disability-confident workplaces as part of CCRW’s 50th Anniversary Employers Challenge.
We’re excited to announce that YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador has become the first employer to participate in CCRW’s 50th Anniversary Employers Challenge.
As CCRW celebrates 50 years of advancing disability inclusion in Canada, this national initiative invites 50 employers to publicly commit to strengthening disability confidence in their workplaces and creating more inclusive employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
“YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador is the first of 50 employers committing to building disability-confident workplaces.”
By joining the challenge, YMCA of Newfoundland and Labrador is helping set the tone for what we hope will become a growing movement of employers across Canada who recognize the value of inclusive workplaces.
Participating organizations demonstrate leadership by strengthening accessibility, advancing inclusive hiring practices, and fostering environments where people with disabilities can thrive.
As the challenge continues throughout CCRW’s 50th anniversary year, we look forward to welcoming more employers who are ready to take this step and champion disability confidence within their organizations.
