CCRW Recognized in the House of Commons During National AccessAbility Week

During National AccessAbility Week (NAAW), the Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW) was proudly recognized in the House of Commons by Toronto—St. Paul’s MP and Parliamentary Secretary Leslie Church in celebration of CCRW’s 50th anniversary.

“Businesses succeed when they can draw on the full range of Canadian talent. Workers succeed when barriers are removed.”

— Leslie Church, House of Commons, May 29, 2026

In her statement to the House, Leslie Church highlighted CCRW’s longstanding leadership in advancing accessible and inclusive employment opportunities for Canadians with disabilities.

Since 1976, CCRW has worked alongside job seekers, employers, community organizations, and partners across Canada to help remove barriers to employment and build more inclusive workplaces.

The recognition comes during National AccessAbility Week, a time dedicated to celebrating accessibility and inclusion while recognizing the ongoing work needed to create a more barrier-free Canada.
