Join First Work's annual Aspire Youth Summit on February 9th, 2023 from 10am - 4pm. This virtual event is FREE for youth ages 15-30, who live in Ontario. Who can benefit from this event:

• Young staff in need of some professional development opportunities
• Young people looking for work and wanting to feel inspired to start their job search strong in the new year
• Youth in school that are working on building their hard and soft skills to enter the workforce
• Young people looking to make a career change

After a rough few years for youth in the workforce, First Work's Aspire Youth Summit will encourage, educate, and empower young people to explore career paths they never considered and learn how to level up in their career.

First Work’s Aspire Youth Summit will reshape the way youth think about career paths by providing new, well-coordinated and industry-supported programming to fuel the curiosity and exploration of future career options and pathways. Modeled as an alternative to take your kids to work day, the Summit will involve real employers, skills development, and mentorship through seminars, panels, and training sessions, and provide access and knowledge into various career industries. Session topics include:

• Mentorship

• Managing anxiety
• The value of lived experience
• Alternate pathways to the workforce
• Youth led advocacy
• Employment laws and more!
