Trades & Talent Connect 2026

CCRW is pleased to share details about Trades & Talent Connect 2026, an upcoming employment-focused event hosted by Support Ontario Youth that brings together employers, industry partners, and job seekers exploring careers in the skilled trades. Taking place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, this in-person event is designed to support meaningful connections between employers and emerging talent, while strengthening pathways into trades careers across Ontario.

About the Event

Trades & Talent Connect 2026 builds on the success of last year’s event, which welcomed close to 400 registered job seekers. This year’s event will be held in a larger, more accessible venue, offering improved space and accessibility for employers, partners, and attendees. The event offers employers and industry professionals the opportunity to:
  • Connect directly with job seekers exploring careers in the skilled trades
  • Network with other employers, industry leaders, and sector partners
  • Share insights and build meaningful industry relationships
  • Meet potential apprentices and your future workforce
  • Learn what today’s candidates value when entering the trades

  • Organizations looking to grow their workforce
  • Partners interested in supporting new talent and building industry connections

Featured Employer Session

Trades & Talent Connect 2026 will include a new 30-minute employer-focused session, Building Resilience in New & Young Workers. This session explores the employer’s role in strengthening retention, confidence, and performance among apprentices and new entrants to the skilled trades.
