April 21, 2023 | 1-2PM(EST)
Online

An introduction to Prosper Canada’s financial tools and resources

CCRW and Prosper Canada are collaborating to bring our staff more knowledge on financial literacy through a nationwide webinar, catered towards learning how to help people seeking ways to boost their income and/or reduce their expenses by simplifying the search for government benefits using the Benefits Wayfinder. After identifying a gap in the knowledge of financial literacy and people with disabilities employment support, we hope this will benefit frontliners to provide more resources to the peole we serve. This is a valuable aid for anyone supporting people who are living on low/modest incomes to access benefits, increase their incomes and improve their finances. Join the webinar on April 21st, 1:00-2:00PM(EST). - Register by clicking the button at the top of this page or by following this link Help others improve their money situation! A variety of free financial tools and resources to help people take charge of their spending, learn about tax filing and tackle their debt. You will also learn how to help people seeking ways to boost their income and/or reduce their expenses by simplifying the search for government benefits using the Benefits Wayfinder. This simple, easy-to-use, plain-language tool is a valuable aid for anyone supporting people to access benefits. The tool includes information and resources from federal, provincial, and territorial governments, updated on an ongoing basis as new information becomes available. The webinar will include:
  • An introduction to free financial tools and resources to help improve finances.
  • A Benefits Wayfinder walkthrough using a "Persona" to highlight key features.
