Leah, Employer
Kitchener
Working with CCRW for help in filling our part-time contract role was a pleasant and near-effortless experience. Within only a day or two of meeting with CCRW’s staff to explain the role and following up with a written description of the job and the skillset required, I received the resumes of three very promising candidates. The person we ended up hiring checked virtually every box on our list of required and desired skills, was personable, coachable, enthusiastic, and reliable – which was critical, given the tight timeline for the first phase of the project for which she’d been hired.
It bears noting that our contract worker’s relative lack of paid workplace experience did not detract from her ability to perform the requirements of the role. Her volunteer experience, along with her intelligence and willingness to learn were transferable skills. This underscores the benefit to employers of taking a more holistic approach to determining what constitutes “real” experience and employability.
In short, I would not hesitate to recommend CCRW to any prospective employer.
