CCRW Shortlisted for the 2025 Zero Project Awards
The Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW) is thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for the esteemed Zero Project Awards 2025! This year’s awards focused on Inclusive Employment and Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and CCRW’s innovative work has earned us a spot among 160 groundbreaking solutions selected from a pool of 522 nominations across 90 countries. We are proud to be recognized alongside organizations from 61 countries across all six continents, all striving to create a more inclusive world.
Starting from late August 2024, the Zero Project’s ecosystem and network will have the opportunity to engage with and vote on the Shortlist of Innovative Solutions. Based on these votes, the Zero Project Team will announce the Awardees on December 3, 2024, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Award winners will be showcased at the global Zero Project Conference 2025 at the United Nations Offices in Vienna (#ZeroCon25, March 5-7, 2025), and in the Zero Project Report.
This nomination is a significant milestone for CCRW, reflecting our unwavering commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces and advancing opportunities for people with disabilities. The extensive selection process involved rigorous reviews by experts, and we are honoured that our efforts have been acknowledged at this global level.
As we look ahead to the final announcement in December 2024, we are energized to continue our work and share our experiences with others. Being shortlisted not only highlights the impact of our initiatives but also inspires us to push further in our mission to remove barriers and empower individuals with disabilities across Canada.
We are excited about the upcoming stages and look forward to engaging with the global community at the Zero Project Conference 2025 in Vienna. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to work towards a more inclusive and accessible future for all!
