May 30, 2025 | 1:00PM-3:00PMNDT
644 Topsail Road, St. John's NL
Celebrate National AccessAbility Week with a leap into the future of work Join us on May 30th from 1:00–3:00 PM at Keyin College’s St. John’s Campus (644 Topsail Road) for VR for the Future of Work, a dynamic, hands-on event exploring how virtual reality is transforming hiring, training, communication, and workplace inclusion. Co-hosted by CCRW, Amal Unite & Empower, and Keyin College, this event brings together industry professionals, community partners, and tech-forward organizations to network, explore, and discover how VR is being used in real-world workplace settings - and how it can support your own team.

What to Expect:

  • Multiple VR Experience Stations – Test-drive immersive workplace scenarios on topics like:
    • Navigating disability disclosure and accommodations
    • Difficult conversations between managers and staff
    • Public speaking, onboarding, and team communication
  • QuickShot Sessions – Pop-in info bursts from local experts and industry users on how VR is already being used to:
    • Boost confidence and presentation skills
    • Simulate complex or high-stakes interactions
    • Augment onboarding and workplace safety
    • Build more accessible and inclusive organizations
  • VR Bingo Challenge – Complete your bingo card by visiting stations and sessions to be entered to win prizes, including the grand prize: A half-day “AI in the Workplace” training for your team, courtesy of Keyin College (for up to 10 participants)
This is a tactile, tech-forward networking experience designed to help you connect, explore, and leave with real ideas you can take back to your organization.

Whether you are in HR, operations, leadership, training, or community development - if you are curious about how VR (and the future of work) can unlock new value for your team, this event is for you. RSVP here to secure your spot!
