Overview
The job search can be stressful. This webinar creates space to talk about that stress and explore practical ways to manage it throughout the job search process.
Participants will learn how the body processes fear and anxiety, and will be introduced to stress management techniques that can be used in everyday life. The session will explore grounding techniques, taking perspective, and incorporating self-care into job search activities.
The webinar will also look at how to break job search tasks into small, manageable SMART goals that can help build confidence, reduce stress, and increase motivation.

Speakers
Maggie Dowling
Mental Health Capacity Coordinator, CCRW
Maggie Dowling is a registered Social Service Worker with over 15 years of experience working in community mental health, disability, and employment. She brings a practical and supportive approach to helping participants better understand stress and build strategies for managing it during the job search process.
Linda Brown
Senior Learning Coordinator, CCRW
Linda Brown is the Senior Learning Coordinator at CCRW and is responsible for the development, creation, deployment, and maintenance of the eLearning environment and resources. She began at CCRW in 2020 as a youth Employment Facilitator before transitioning into the eLearning role.
Linda has created over 50 eLearning courses, three eBooks, and countless resources, guides, and toolkits to support employment success for job seekers with disabilities. She also identifies as a neurodivergent person and brings lived experience, formal education, and over two decades of experience advancing equity initiatives for marginalized groups into her practice.
