CCRW’s 2023/2024 Annual Report: Moving the Needle Forward

Major Resources and Reports
2024 saw the launch of several key tools and resources designed to create accessible and inclusive employment opportunities:
- Disability Confidence Toolkit: Empowering employers with practical strategies for inclusive hiring.
- VR Training: Training job seekers in interpersonal skills needed for employment
- Skills for Success eLearning Courses: Developing essential workplace competencies for career advancement.
- Coaching the Skills for Success: A guide to implementing tailored training programs.
- Trends Reports: Four in-depth reports examining disability and work trends across Canada.
Driving Research and Advocacy
At CCRW, we prioritize evidence-based approaches to improving workplace inclusion. This year, over 400 individuals with disabilities and 40 employers participated in our research initiatives, contributing to innovative projects like:
- SURF (Sourcing Understanding Through Research for Future Talent): Examining the transition from post-secondary education to employment for youth with disabilities.
- STEAM (Skilled Talent Employment Advantage Method): Exploring how soft skills training improves employment outcomes for CCRW clients.
Advocacy in Action
Our commitment to disability inclusion extended beyond Canada, reaching global platforms:
- Winter: Granted Consultative Status with the United Nations, enabling us to contribute to international disability rights discussions.
- Spring: Recognized in the House of Commons during National AccessAbility Week.
- Summer: Featured on the Gale Force Wins Podcast, highlighting workplace accessibility.
- Fall: Presented at the G7 Summit in Italy, where CCRW’s leadership played a key role in shaping the Solfagnano Charter on disability inclusion.
