NAAW Webinar: Simple Changes with Big Impacts

Low- and no-cost accommodations that benefit everyone

Most workplace accommodations cost employers very little. Providing workplace adjustments for workers with disabilities, or building simple changes into everyday policy and practice, can improve accessibility, productivity, retention and workplace culture for everyone.

This webinar is presented by CCRW in partnership with York University as part of National AccessAbility Week 2026.

Overview

In this research-driven webinar, we’ll undo the myth that accommodation must be expensive. The session will explore what “no-cost” and “low-cost” accommodations look like in practice, from flexible schedules to inexpensive assistive devices that can make a meaningful impact.

Attendees will learn what the evidence tells us about the shared benefits of accommodations for workers and employers alike. Participants will leave with a better understanding of different types of accommodations, clear examples they can implement immediately and an evidence-informed case for how accommodations can strengthen their organization.
