On September 3, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:30 pm ET, we will join the National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) and the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum (CAF-FCA), for a discussion in relation to apprentices with disabilities. CAF-FCA will begin the webinar by providing an overview of its Accessibility Framework and its Supporting Equity in Trades Conferences. We will then explore the critical role of education in removing stigma and promoting inclusivity for people with disabilities in the workplace.Webinar Info

Emily Arrowsmith – CAF-FCA
Emily Arrowsmith is the Director of Research and Programs at the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum. In her 17 years at the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum, Emily has led 50 plus national apprenticeship research projects, including the Apprentices in Canada ePanel. Emily has worked with a diverse range of apprenticeship stakeholders, including youth, apprentices, labour representatives, employers and educators. Emily recently earned her Bachelor’s in Adult Education from Brock University. She has a Ph.D. from Carleton University.Jason J. McBride – CCRW | CCRT

Jason is globally recognized for his networking prowess, effective communication as a speaker, and his influential role in training and development.
